Office day out

< Return to news

Our first office trip of the summer, saw us visit a number of our projects at Sugar House Island in East London, followed by a slow amble across town (via a few watering holes) to the Serpentine Pavilion.

We have engineered a number of buildings and bridges for the 10Ha Sugar House Island development in Stratford.  Our visit in the blistering sun, covered a handful of these projects, including a 5 storey commercial building formed in CLT and a 7 storey commercial building with post-tensioned concrete slabs.  Following this, it was over to South Kensington for lunch and then on to this years Serpentine Pavilion by Frida Escobedo, for quiet reflection, drinks, scrutiny………and then more drinks.
