We are very proud to have assisted Glenn Howells Architects with a new regional hub in Selly Oak for national charity, Sense. The building has recently been officially opened by Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal.
The exposed insitu reinforced concrete frame compliments the aesthetic requirements and the environmental strategy. It provides an understated but robust backdrop to the spaces within the building. The apparent simplicity of the exposed concrete elements were achieved through collaboration and meticulous coordination, with Glenn Howells Architects and the concrete frame contractor. The project has been shortlisted for this year’s Concrete Society Awards.
