This project knitted together 15 separate town houses, 11 of which were Grade II listed and fronting onto three streets, into a single building. The space between the buildings which used to form the back extensions and rear yards had over the decades become a jumble of small rooms and corridors and a mess of M+E kit, this was demolished down to basement and a sub-basement constructed before a new steel framed structure was erected, linking all the buildings together to create a new signature building for Soho House.

The listed interiors to the original Kettner’s restaurant were protected and preserved throughout the works and all materials and structural elements were designed to enter the site at road level through a double door on the Greek Street elevation. Outwardly there appears that little has altered, internally the spaces have been transformed as well as a significant increase in floor area to a very tight inner city site.
