Marklake Court

A residential development comprising 27 units for social rent on behalf of a well organised Tenant Management team. The design was conceived and designed in conjunction with local residents, who formed the Leather Market Community Benefit Society, to develop new affordable homes in the local area.

The ground floor apartments are provided with access to a communal garden, whilst those above have large private cantilever balconies as well as an elevated communal terrace. A number of duplex apartments are provided at the lower levels. The brief required that apartment layouts are flexible to allow for future alterations to suit tenant requirements, and that sustainability remains at the heart of the design.
