Chobham Road, Newham
A development providing nine apartments on a brownfield site close to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London.
Cross laminated timber (CLT) was adopted for the superstructure, which offered significant environmental and programme benefits. Use of the material was extended to balcony structures, with exposed CLT ceilings and walls reducing the need for further lining materials or decoration.
